Inductors
An inductor is a passive electronic component consisting of a coil of wire. A coil of wire can perform important functions because of its magnetic properties. An inductor, also called a coil or reactor, is a passive two-terminal electrical component that resists changes in electric current. It consists of a conductor, such as wire, usually wound into a coil. Energy is stored in a magnetic field within the coil while current flows. When the current changes, the varying magnetic field induces a voltage in the conductor according to Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction.

Inductors are commonly manufactured using multilayer processing technologies, wire-winding technology, and thin-film technologies.

We offer a wide selection of filters, SMT inductors, power inductors, and transponder coils. These components are designed for high-frequency, signal, and power circuits used in applications ranging from mobile devices and consumer electronics to solar power inverters, power supplies, on-board chargers, and automotive remote keyless entry systems.

Ask us about inductors, chokes, and coils, including air-core inductors, coupled inductors, charging coils, toroidal inductors, RF inductors, and more. Inductors are used in many types of electronic circuits, particularly RF, audio, power, and signal-processing applications.

Fixed inductors are used in automotive electronics, telecommunications, video equipment, medical electronics, and many other applications. They can be used for radio interference suppression, DC/DC converter power applications, storage chokes, and LC filter designs where tight tolerances are required.

Chip inductors are designed using various construction techniques, including multilayer, thin-film, and wire-wound technologies. These techniques allow manufacturers to produce compact, high-performance inductors for a wide range of applications.

AC Line Filters AC Line Filters

AC line filters feature compact, low-profile, and lightweight designs. Options include split and non-split bobbin designs for common-mode and differential-mode applications. High-frequency (HF) chokes are also available in various form factors and heights. Suitable applications include audio-visual equipment and office automation systems.

 Ferrite Inductors Ferrite Inductors

These leaded power inductor coils use ferrite cores and are designed for high-frequency applications. They are suitable for applications such as DC/DC converters, power circuits, and noise filters.

Metal Composite Inductors Metal Composite Inductors

Metal composite inductors are designed for power supplies with high ripple current. They provide high saturation current capability and low-profile designs, making them suitable for applications where board space is limited.

Ferrite Beads SMD Inductors & Ferrite Beads

These surface-mount inductors and ferrite beads are designed for a wide range of electronic equipment, including computers, telecommunications, automotive, defense, medical, and consumer electronics. Available technologies include wire-wound and multilayer inductors for power applications, EMI filtering and suppression, and oscillation and impedance-matching circuits.

We are an electronic component distributor offering inductors, coils, chokes, transformers, and related magnetic components from a broad range of manufacturers.
